Winter is coming, and our Backyard Shows season is about to end. We want our final show in 2016 to be one to remember, so we’ve tried a holistic approach; the whole world will sound at our backyard.

We’re bringing in the super accomplished local band The Obscure Dignitaries. They play it all; from Gypsy rhythms, Slavic torch songs, American folk melodies, to psychedelic Bollywood hits, Mexican dances, galloping Turkish grooves, and Brazilian samba just to mention a few.

The Obscure Dignitaries is a five-human collective that showcases traditional world-folk and global pop with equal parts authentic recreation and free-wheeling invention.

Our aim is to take you around the world with The Obscure Dignitaries’ mix of guitar, vocals, bass, and a diverse, international array of percussion. Check them out here.

Before, between and after the show, Mutarrancho’s Dj session will add to the night an erudite, eclectic and unorthodox selection of world music gems.
