Tusing grew up whistling and humming along the creek beds and treetops of Texas. Music and nature have been two of his greatest loves for as long as he can remember, and he’s been recording music since he was 14. His first band released EPs throughout Tusing’s high school years, and the artist has released solo work on Bandcamp since 2011.
Tusing’s songs are often buoyed by his time as an avid traveler and hiker. “I think I’m better at creating when I give myself space for personal growth, and that’s a big part of what my outdoor life and my music are about: reflection, and bringing something back into the world.”
In celebration of his upcoming album Driving to the Game, Tusing will be playing a special set with unreleased songs with Bobby Orozco as the opening act. Join us for a fun night full of music and surprises!
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Find them here
“His voice takes on a deep vibration, conjuring a sense of forlorn solitude not unlike Orville Peck’s lonesome cowboy or The National’s dust-swept Americana.”
Anthony Kozlowski, Atwood Magazine
“Tusing is proof that an outdoor lifestyle and music lifestyle do not have to be mutually exclusive, and in some ways, might even be complementary.”
