An intersection of blissed-out psych rock and outré vibraphone explorations!
Nigel will start the night with a solo set, later to be absorbed into the Estacado expansive streamlined songs.
Estacado is a garage/psych power trio from Dallas, Texas. Formed in 2018, the band has a spacey, psyched out shoegaze dynamic focusing on atmospheric soundscapes with funky grooves and punchy arrangements.
The band consists of Adam Sage Johnson on vocals and guitar, Ziggy Gardner on bass and backing vocals, and Mark Sorrentino II on drums. Estacado’s atmospheric layers are further enhanced by guest musician Nigel Newton on vibraphone and marimba.

Nigel Newton is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, okra rancher, and composer. Having won several composition awards in his teens, he continued learning at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he cultivated a unique style of playing the vibraphone and studied songwriting, jazz composition, and the High Art of Translucence. He has since relocated to the DFW metroplex where he spends his time performing and gazing at stars.
