About the Author

Dr. Sara Reardon is a board-certified pelvic floor physical therapist with nearly two decades of experience helping women address everything from urinary leakage to painful sex, prolapse, and postpartum discomfort. She’s the founder of The V-Hive, an online platform for pelvic floor health, and has been featured in Time, Harper’s Bazaar, Today, and on TED for her work rethinking postpartum care. With over half a million followers on Instagram and millions of views on TikTok, Dr. Reardon has built a vibrant, trusted community by offering compassionate, science-based education in plain language. She lives in New Orleans with her husband and two sons. FLOORED is her first book—a natural extension of her advocacy for informed and empowered women’s healthcare.

About the Book

FLOORED is a comprehensive, accessible guide to pelvic floor health, designed specifically for women at all stages of life. Whether you’re preparing for childbirth, managing menopausal changes, or dealing with symptoms you’ve been told are just part of “being a woman,” this book challenges that narrative with practical advice and empathetic insight. Dr. Reardon explains how the pelvic floor functions, how to assess your own needs, and how to safely strengthen or rehabilitate this critical group of muscles. She also addresses the gaps in the healthcare system that leave so many women overlooked or misinformed. FLOORED is an invitation to reclaim agency over your body and break the silence around issues too often dismissed or ignored.
