RESPOND : Puerto Rico is an ecological and sustainable effort to provide immediate relief to those devastated by hurricanes Irma and Maria.
It is managed by North Texas artists of Puerto Rican heritage/identity to provide Puerto Ricans options that will last beyond the current relief efforts and maintain their day-to-day needs.
The efforts to rebuild Puerto Rico will last decades. Sustainable, long-term solutions are urgently needed. Our fundraising efforts reflect the need to rise from this disaster, as well as contribute to a new type of development based on local resilience in accordance with the ecology of the island and the world. Our funds will go directly to community-led organizations with pre-hurricane roots on the island who will be there long after the immediate relief efforts have disappeared.

Help parts of the island that have not received aid.
Turn fallen trees into rebuilding material.
