Midnight Opera, one of our favorite bands in town, will be back in our backyard. We still remember how they made us all feel last year at our Anniversary Party. Boy, that was really something.
Midnight Opera (fka Siamese) is a glam rock band from Dallas, TX. Mixing ominous art pop with opulent visuals and deranged alter egos, their live show makes you feel like you could go out and invent a new color, or wear a leotard to work.
“Slinky, sultry dreampop with a dusting of glitter and a theatrical bent that really shows itself at their live shows.” –BrooklynVegan
“Their music brings to mind thoughts of haunted candelabras, burgundy curtains, smoke from a cauldron … Beyond just atmosphere, they use this theatricality to lend gravitas to real-life emotions, which can give their songs a (cursed) soul-bearing, (black) heart-on-sleeve quality.” –Tiny Mix Tapes
“Not sure how many different ways we can put this, but [Midnight Opera] is Dallas’ best new band. That’s really the most succinct way to phrase it.” –Central Track

North Texas-based poet pop solo artist Lorelei K sings siren songs with a dark sparkle. Bedroom lyricism, dreamy keys, and lush beats. Aesthetically pleasing, aspiring Cher impersonator.
“Be The Doll, a 10-song collection of extreme pop, announced a beguiling talent upon its release in November. To hear the songs live is to experience a liberating merging of fantasy and intense vulnerability; raw emotion, dressed well.” –D Magazine
“Dahlia Knowles’ second album as Lorelei K takes her pain and turns it into catchy pop songs. Don’t mistake the pop genre classification for a signal of vapidity – the album is full of charming soundscapes wrapped around aching poetry.” –The Dentonite
