Join us for an evening with County Highway, the newspaper that reads like a 19th-century broadsheet and thinks like a 21st-century dispatch from the edge of the republic. Contributing writer Meaghan Garvey and assistant editor Valen Lambert will guide us through the spirit and stories of the paper, reading selections from their work and opening up a conversation about its eccentric, often revelatory approach to American life.

Garvey—whose sharp, lyrical writing has appeared in Pitchfork, NPR, The New York Times, and more—is at work on her debut book Midwestern Death Trip, forthcoming from Panamerica Books. Lambert, based in the Pacific Northwest, writes on overlooked communities and mythic corners of the country.
