Event Details

We’re starting the year introducing a new event series at The Wild Detectives: COMMU.N.I.T.Y, a monthly talk show that brings you different perspectives and hot takes on culture, community, and the current political climate, hosted and curated by your favorite intersectional feminist, poet, Melania-Luisa Marte. Our first very special guest, Anthony Whitehead is the founder and CEO of ‘The Juice Box.’ Our theme for this talk will be “Healing The Hood” we will be discussing how transforming the conversation around food transforms our community and better equips us to uplift, educate, and create balanced lives for the future generations.

Entrepreneur/Actor/Model/Director/Youth Mentor Anthony Whitehead CEO of  ‘The Juice Box’ has been in business for only five months and enjoyed every day of it. Whitehead has been a Actor/Model in the DFW industry for the past seven years. He is one of the actors from the forthcoming stage play ‘Why Do Women Trip’ and has directed two films that seek to unpack stereotypes of Black Men that transcend the tired narrative in media that perpetuates a life of sex, drugs and violence.
