Parking lots cover nearly a quarter of Dallas, but it wasn’t always that way. Historical landmarks, walkable neighborhoods, and tight-knit communities were razed to the ground to make giant asphalt parking spaces. We are hosting an event next weekend to bring that history to light through a panel-style discussion featuring speakers from Downwinders at Risk, and other environmental justice-centered organizations.
