Why did you start a bilingual book club?
We wanted to create a welcoming space for people who share our love for literature and the Spanish language by forming a bilingual book club at our favorite book store!
How long have you been meeting?
This book club was formed in August 2021 and has been going strong ever since!
When do you meet?
We meet every second Thursday at TWD at 7PM.
What are you reading?
We are currently reading Un lugar soleado para gente sombría by Mariana Enriquez and the translation A Sunny Place for Shady People.
What kinds of books do you discuss?
We mostly read fictional short stories by Latin American and Spanish authors. We discuss 2 short stories a month.
Do I have to be fluent in Spanish to join?
No. All language levels are welcome to join.
