All genres welcome.
Put down your phone, pick up a book, and join us for an evening of conversation and quiet reading with 101Media and Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
In Doctor vs TikTok, Juan (John) Avila II, MD, an internal medicine physician on the medical staff at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, will discuss the health trends filling our feeds—from fibermaxxing and weight-lifting to the best time for a “hot girl walk.” Bring your questions for a live Q&A.
After the conversation, settle in with your own book for silent reading, then stay to meet fellow readers. There is no assigned title: bring whatever you are enjoying, in any genre. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Admission is free with RSVP. Reserve your spot through Eventbrite.
