There’s a tired stereotype that women aren’t funny. That anyone would say that in the age of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer…. We could go on forever, baby! Here in Dallas, we’ve got plenty of funny to go around. Join us for an evening of comedy featuring the remarkable pre-teen comic, Saffy Herndon, along with Linda Stogner the 2014 Funniest Comic in Texas, and others for a night packed with laughs. Last additions: Sandra Balan and Jessica Roy
Saffy Herndon is one of the youngest (if not the youngest, she’s just 10) comics in the Dallas area, but her age doesn’t stop her from performing around DFW. “Next Little Thing,” as she’s called, used to let the audience know that she’d written everything she was about to say. “If there’s anything that you don’t like or that offends you,” she used to say, “I’m only 8. So don’t judge me.”
Linda Stogner is an Emmy award-winning comedian and filmmaker and the co-founder of Backdoor Comedy club along with comedian Jan Norton.
