Join former Dallasite, Paul Kix, for a celebration of his narrative non-fiction book, The Saboteur. He’ll read from the book and discuss it with Sarah Hepola, the best selling author of Blackout. Kix’ book has already been optioned by DreamWorks, with Cary Fukunaga as director and Michael Sugar, of Spotlight fame, set to produce.
In the tradition of Agent Zigzag comes The Saboteur, a breathtaking biography, as fast-paced and emotionally intuitive as the very best spy thrillers, which illuminates an unsung hero of the French Resistance during World War II—Robert de La Rochefoucald, an aristocrat turned anti-Nazi saboteur—and his daring exploits as a résistant trained by Britain’s Special Operations Executive.
Paul Kix is a deputy editor at ESPN the Magazine. He’s returning to Dallas for the holidays where he spent some of the best years of his life writing for the Dallas Observer and D Magazine. His writing has also appeared in The New Yorker, GQ, New York, and The Wall Street Journal, among other titles. Kix live in Connecticut with my wife and three kids.
