Paella might be the most
Paella might be the most well-known Spanish dish in the world, but it’s also the one that creates the most controversy among paella purists regarding how a perfect paella should be prepared. Just a few cooks are skilled enough to come up with a paella that is controversy-proof, a paella that’s able to generate consensus among the experts. We count this week with one of them, our friend Iñaki Betrán, a Spanish chef who’s worked in one of the most influential restaurants in Spain; the 3 Michelin Star rated Arzak in San Sebastián.
Paella isn’t a complicated dish to cook, but it has its tricks. Iñaki will cook a paella from scratch in our backyard and will go through the whole process in front of the attendees. Those who come won’t just get all Iñaki’s secrets to accomplish the perfect paella, but will also be able to enjoy a portion and savor what a perfect paella tastes like.
Attendance is free and Paella portions will be sold while they last, which won’t be too long.
