If you are looking for something intriguing, addicting and thrilling to read look no further with Colin P. Cahoon’s historical, fictional novel, The Man with the Black Box. Join us at The Wild Detectives as Cahoon presents his book and we try to decipher the mystery of who is this serial killer, what is inside of the black box and debate the question of what are the real differences between good and evil.

The Man with the Black Box is a fantasy thriller of historic proportions. An international crisis threatens to plunge the world into war at the dawn of the 20th century, but the British Foreign Office finds itself blinded by the bizarre deaths of crucial agents and informants as it struggles to stave off the coming conflagration. For help they turn to an unconventional outsider, Inspector Jenkins of Scotland Yard, who soon finds himself on the trail of a mysterious man with a deadly black box and a host of devoted accomplices.

Assassinations, seduction, politics and a world spinning out of control, The Man with the Black Box is a historically based twist on the age-old battle of good vs. evil. A terrifying examination of the corruptibility of mankind, where innocents transform into monsters, men of God become agents of destruction and good men rise from the flames of damnation to become soldiers in the coming apocalypse. What’s in the black box?  Everyone’s dying to know.

Colin P. Cahoon is a writer of historically based fiction, practicing patent attorney, and former Army helicopter pilot. He is a frequent speaker at legal seminars in the US and abroad on legal ethics and intellectual property law, and serves as the Chancellor and a Lay Eucharistic Minister for the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dallas, Texas. Colin grew up in the Mesilla Valley of New Mexico and earned his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University. He subsequently earned his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law, where he met his wife, Susan. They have three grown children and live in Dallas when not enjoying skiing and fishing in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
